I learned things about myself that I had never known before. My business will allow me to exercise my creativity and culinary skills. The program only offers certificates, but not graduate degrees.
The California and Texas campuses run several continuing education classes, and the California campus also has programs for wine professionals.
That was my first experience as a baker, but not my last. I felt the texture of the sticky and gooey dough and then waited 30 minutes, an eternity to a seven year old, for the dough to rise.
Another family member who encouraged me was my mother. The Texas campus offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in those subjects. The campus also operates two restaurants. Each trustee can serve a maximum of four terms. My grandmother allowed me to knead the dough with my hands.
What are your future goals for using your culinary education? For years I was her assistant, handing her spices and getting her things out of the fridge, but once when I was 10 she let me do it all under her supervision.
